(1) XV |663| PHILOSOPHY

To love
wisdom
is unwise:
philosophy
entangles as
much as she
sets free.

The error
of philosophers
is to love wisdom
rather than boredom
because boring
activities are
the most
important
and relevant.

The sad truth
is that power
is the only
veritable
narcotic
and that
narcotic
can only
come at
the expense
of others,
living as
we do in a
purgatorial
plurality.

Life is war
because not
everyone can
have their way:
one's heaven is
another's hell,
yet no one is
free to choose
hell.

The way to
power is by
empowering
others who,
so empowered,
come to trust
us and thereby
surrender some
of their power
in our favour.

One empowers
others by increasing
their ability to exert
their will to order,
i.e. their position
on the cruelty
spectrum.

For example,
Apple empower
through their
products in return for
which their customers
surrender money
and privacy to
Apple.

Another example is
Hitler who empowered
his countrymen with his
oratory in return for which
his countrymen surrendered
liberty and life to Hitler.

Thus, power
is obtained
through
empowering
others whilst
simultaneously
disempowering
them.

The surest way
to power is to  make
others laugh because
laughter is secret
conquest.

The lasting way
to power is to offer
others a second
childhood
because
childhood
is secret
tyranny.

Ultimately,
power lies with
those who offer
humankind its
ideals and the
means to ape
those ideals.
